This roadster-style Indy Car was built in the Watson style by Floyd Trevis and raced in the Indy 500 in 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964.

In 1961, Floyd Travis built two cars: a customer car and a factory team car. This was the factory team car. The customer car won the Indianapolis 500 in 1961 with A.J. Foyt driving. This car had its best finish in 1964 with an 8th place. Powered by a 255 cu. inch Offenhauser 4 cylinder double overhead cam engine capable of putting out over 400 horsepower. The Offy engines were the dominant force at Indy through the 60’s.
