Welcome to the website of the American Heritage Museum, a program of Collings Foundation, Inc., a Massachusetts nonprofit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of www.americanheritagemuseum.org, including any pages, forms, ticketing links, membership pages, donation forms, event listings, digital content, and related online services provided through or linked from this website.
By using this website, purchasing tickets, registering for an event, becoming a member, making a donation, entering a sweepstakes, signing up for communications, or participating in an American Heritage Museum program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. About the Museum
The American Heritage Museum preserves and presents military history through exhibits, artifacts, educational programs, living history events, memberships, fundraising initiatives, and visitor experiences. The Museum is located at 568 Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749, and is operated as a program of Collings Foundation, Inc.
2. Website Content
The content on this website is provided for general informational, educational, promotional, and transactional purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, but museum hours, exhibitions, ticket availability, pricing, event schedules, program details, experience availability, and policies may change without notice.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update content, change prices, modify events, cancel programs, limit availability, or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time.
3. Tickets, Admissions, Events, and Memberships
General admission tickets, event tickets, memberships, donations, registrations, and related museum purchases may be processed directly by the Museum or through authorized third-party service providers, including ticketing, fundraising, payment processing, customer relationship management, and event registration platforms.
All purchases are subject to the pricing, availability, refund, exchange, event, and operational policies posted at the time of purchase or communicated by the Museum. Unless otherwise stated:
- Tickets are valid only for the date, time, event, or admission type selected.
- Tickets, memberships, donations, and event registrations may be non-refundable or subject to specific refund limitations.
- The Museum may refuse admission, remove guests, or deny participation for unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate conduct.
- Certain events, experiences, demonstrations, or areas may be subject to age, safety, weather, capacity, accessibility, or operational restrictions.
- Membership benefits are subject to change and may not be transferable unless expressly stated.
4. Premium Experiences
The Museum may offer premium experiences, rides, demonstrations, private tours, vehicle experiences, aircraft-related experiences, or other special activities. These may be sold or reserved directly by the Museum or through authorized third-party booking, registration, or payment platforms.
Premium experiences may involve additional rules, safety requirements, waivers, age or height restrictions, weather limitations, operational restrictions, and cancellation policies. By purchasing or participating in such experiences, you agree to follow all posted and communicated safety instructions and any additional terms presented during registration or booking.
The Museum reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel an experience due to weather, mechanical conditions, staffing, safety concerns, operational requirements, or other circumstances.
5. Donations and Fundraising
Collings Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations support the Museum’s mission, collections, education programs, restoration projects, exhibitions, operations, and other charitable purposes.
Donation tax deductibility depends on applicable law and the nature of any goods or services received in exchange for a contribution. Donors should consult their own tax advisors regarding deductibility. The Museum may provide gift acknowledgments where appropriate, but such acknowledgments are not tax advice.
Unless a donation is expressly restricted and accepted by the Museum for a specific purpose, donations may be used to support the Museum’s general charitable mission and priorities.
6. Sweepstakes and Promotional Campaigns
From time to time, the Museum may conduct fundraising sweepstakes, prize promotions, contests, raffles where lawful, or similar campaigns directly or through authorized third-party fundraising, promotion, or sweepstakes administration platforms.
Each sweepstakes or promotion will be governed by its own official rules, eligibility requirements, entry methods, deadlines, prize descriptions, tax obligations, restrictions, and disclosures.
In the event of a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the official rules for a sweepstakes or promotion, the official rules will control.
Sweepstakes and promotions may be void where prohibited by law. Participation may be subject to age, residency, and other eligibility requirements. No statement on this website should be interpreted as modifying the official rules of any sweepstakes or promotion.
7. Email and SMS Communications
You may choose to receive email communications from the Museum, including newsletters, event announcements, membership updates, fundraising appeals, promotional offers, and other museum-related messages. We may use third-party email service providers to manage and send these communications.
You may also choose to receive SMS/text message communications from the Museum. By opting in to SMS communications, you authorize the Museum and its service providers to send text messages to the mobile number you provide. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase, donation, membership, or admission.
You may unsubscribe from email communications by using the unsubscribe link in our emails. You may opt out of SMS communications by following the instructions provided in the text message, such as replying STOP where supported.
8. Photo, Video, and Media Release
The Museum and its representatives may photograph, film, livestream, or otherwise record visitors, members, donors, volunteers, participants, and guests while they are on Museum property or attending Museum events, programs, demonstrations, or activities.
By entering Museum property or participating in Museum events or programs, you understand that you may appear in photographs, video, audio recordings, or other media captured in public or event spaces. You authorize the Museum and Collings Foundation, Inc. to use such images, recordings, or likenesses for reasonable museum-related purposes, including marketing, social media, website content, newsletters, advertising, educational materials, archival documentation, fundraising, public relations, and promotional materials, without compensation.
This release is intended to cover general visitor, event, and crowd photography and videography consistent with common museum and public event practices. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify Museum staff upon arrival, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request where practical. Certain events, demonstrations, or public spaces may be photographed or recorded broadly, and complete exclusion from all images or recordings may not be possible.
For school groups, private events, minors, interviews, testimonials, or other situations where additional permissions may be appropriate, the Museum may request separate consent or release forms.
9. Visitor Conduct and Safety
Visitors agree to follow all posted rules, staff instructions, safety barriers, restricted-area signage, exhibit protections, and event-specific requirements. The Museum may restrict access to certain areas for safety, preservation, security, operational, or weather-related reasons.
The Museum reserves the right to remove or deny entry to any person whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, threatening, abusive, unlawful, damaging to property, disrespectful to staff or visitors, or otherwise inconsistent with the Museum’s mission and visitor standards.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, videos, exhibit descriptions, design elements, trademarks, service marks, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Collings Foundation, Inc., the American Heritage Museum, or their respective rights holders.
You may view, download, or print website content for personal, noncommercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, exploit, or use website content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Use of the American Heritage Museum name, Collings Foundation name, logos, images, or other brand assets is prohibited without written authorization.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
This website may link to, integrate with, or rely on third-party websites, platforms, processors, vendors, or service providers for ticketing, donations, memberships, event registration, premium experience booking, payment processing, sweepstakes administration, email communications, SMS messaging, analytics, advertising, website hosting, video hosting, maps, social media, and other operational purposes.
These third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, payment practices, refund rules, cookies, and data-handling practices. 12. User Submissions
If you submit comments, testimonials, stories, photographs, historical information, inquiries, forms, or other materials to the Museum, you represent that you have the right to provide them and that they do not infringe the rights of others.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you grant the Museum a non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and preserve such submissions for museum-related purposes, including communications, historical documentation, education, fundraising, and promotion.
13. No Warranty
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Collings Foundation, Inc., the American Heritage Museum, and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, agents, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, attendance at Museum programs, participation in activities, use of third-party platforms, or reliance on website content.
