The M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage, aka the M16 half-track, was an American self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon armed with four .50 cal machine guns in a Maxson turret.

Firing nearly 2,400 rounds per minute, the M16 became known as the “meat chopper.” It was well known for its effectiveness against low flying aircraft and infantry, making it extremely popular with soldiers.

During the Battle of the Bulge, M16 half-tracks were used as infantry support weapons.
